PHS251 General Physics I This course is an introductory physics course designed for a variety of science majors and pre-professionals. This course includes online lectures and at-home, hands-on labs that are submitted with multimedia. The student will apply fundamental principles of physics including translational and rotational motion, force, work, mechanical and thermal energy, linear and angular momentum, and fluid mechanics using the tools of algebra and trigonometry. Students will complete a lab in this course as part of the course requirements.
Prerequisite: MTH178 or higher with a C or better.
