An emphasis will be placed upon practical applications for nutrition, including how to read and analyze food labels; how to analyze personal eating habits; how to distinguish between nutrition fact and fiction; and how to identify relationships between nutrition and disease. Additionally, this course will investigate the nutritional requirements of mothers, infants, children, teens, and geriatric populations.
