Prerequisites

Placement Score Prerequisites

Because of the nature of some EDUKAN courses, you’ll need to show that you’re ready to pursue these courses just as you would if you were taking them on one of our campuses.

Showing that you have met the prerequisites for these courses can be done one of the following ways:

Providing a college transcript showing the successful completion of a prerequisite course with a “C” or higher.

If you choose this option, please request that your former college send an official transcript to the registrar at your selected college of enrollment. Your transcript needs to be on file by the day the course begins.

Submitting standardized test scores

Either ACT or ACCUPLACER test scores may be used for this purpose. If you are using ACT scores, please request that ACT sends a copy of your scores to the registrar at your selected college of enrollment. Scores must be no more than two years old and must be on file by the day the course begins. If you are using ACCUPLACER test scores, please request that an official score report is sent from the college where you took the ACCUPLACER test to the registrar at your selected college of enrollment. Scores must be on file by the day the course begins.

If you have not completed the prerequisites, you are encouraged to make arrangements with your selected EDUKAN school of enrollment for ACCUPLACER testing or to locate a community college near your home and arrange for ACCUPLACER testing.

Specific course placement scores are available from each of the selected EDUKAN colleges by contacting the college registrar.
