ART128 Digital Photography This course focuses on the theory and practice of photography, incorporating the digital camera and various photo editing software programs, as a means of self-expression. Digital camera and basic computer skills required.

Prerequisite: None

Required Text

  • Materials:  A Digital camera and access to a computer. You will need to be able to download your photos to your computer. (You can use a cable or card reader for downloading from your camera.) A tripod is helpful but not required. You can use free or purchased software for editing photos.  Information on software choices is provided in the course. You should also have a manual for your camera – it may have come on a disk with your camera. You can also usually download a manual from the camera’s manufacturer.
