ART128 Digital Photography This course is designed as an introductory geographic survey arranged around the eight major regions: United States and Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, Russia and Central Eurasia, Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific, Asia, The Middle East and North Africa, and Africa South of the Sahara. Emphasis is placed on an analysis of the natural environment, cultural environment, population status, economic development, and potentials.

Required Text

  • Materials:  A Digital camera and access to a computer. You will need to be able to download your photos to your computer. (You can use a cable or card reader for downloading from your camera.) A tripod is helpful but not required. You can use free or purchased software for editing photos.  Information on software choices is provided in the course. You should also have a manual for your camera – it may have come on a disk with your camera. You can also usually download a manual from the camera’s manufacturer.
