SSC176 World Regional Geography This course is designed as an introductory geographic survey arranged around the eight major regions: United States and Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, Russia and Central Eurasia, Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific, Asia, The Middle East and North Africa, and Africa South of the Sahara. Emphasis is placed on an analysis of the natural environment, cultural environment, population status, economic development, and potentials.
