LIT255 Literature for Adolescents A course focusing on literature for and about adolescents. The course includes literature read by middle school and high school students and adults. Emphasis is on reading and interpreting literature in-depth, engaging in substantive literary discussion, and writing critical responses to literature. Diverse course materials are designed to serve as life and career resources. Recommended for education and library science majors. Students should demonstrate readiness for English Composition I, by placement or by course credit.
