PHL106 Introduction to the New TestamentThis course will provide an overview of the New Testament through an exploration of the four gospels. The gospels will be used to analyze the cultural, historical, and purpose reflected through the writings. A paper on a selected passage will be used to drive critical engagement and practice critical thinking. Students who successfully complete this course will have a working knowledge of the gospels, will have viewed the early Christian community through multiple perspectives, and will have applied critical thinking within a theological and literary setting.
